This pivotal gathering, part of the SURE project under the Swiss Federal Office of Energy’s SWEET program, will focus on refining strategies for a sustainable, resilient Swiss energy sector by 2050.
The SURE project is developing an advanced framework to analyze scenarios for Switzerland’s energy future, balancing sustainability with resilience. In addition to charting long-term pathways toward deep decarbonization, the project explores “shock scenarios”—potential disruptive events that could challenge the system’s stability.
Building on insights from the 1st Indicator Workshop, this second session will delve deeper into evaluating the sustainability and resilience indicators, ensuring Switzerland’s energy transition can withstand future uncertainties.
